The Microsoft Windows PowerToys are a suite of tools available for free
download from the Microsoft Web site. Microsoft Technical Support Desktop
Systems (DTS) does not support the installation or usage of PowerToys or
any of their components.

SUMMARY

This article describes how to clear the User Name logon box so it is blank each
time you start Windows 95.

NOTE: The following procedure does not work correctly with Microsoft Windows 95
OEM Service Release versions. An OEM version is a version of Windows 95 that
comes prepackaged on computers.

To clear the User Name logon box so that it is blank each time you start Windows
95, use the Tweak UI tool that is a component of the PowerToys utilities:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click
  Tweak UI.

2. On the Paranoia tab, click to select the Clear Last User At Logon check box.
