SYMPTOMS
========

On a Canon NoteJet II 486C computer, when you click the Suspend command on the
Start menu, the computer does not suspend. When you use the computer's suspend
button to suspend the computer, the computer suspends, but the computer will not
resume.

CAUSE
=====

The Advanced Power Management (APM) BIOS on the Canon NoteJet II 486C does not
support the Suspend option in Windows 95.

RESOLUTION
==========

Do not suspend the Canon NoteJet II 486C when you are running Windows 95. If you
want to remove the Suspend command from the Start menu, follow these steps:

1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel on
  the menu that appears.

2. In Control Panel, double-click the Power icon.

3. In the Power Properties dialog box, click the Never Show Suspend Command In
  Start Menu option.
