SYMPTOMS
========

When Microsoft Dogs or Microsoft World of Flight profiles your display, the test
may take longer than 20 minutes.

The display is profiled the first time Microsoft Dogs or Microsoft World of
Flight is run and whenever you change the video display driver.

When the test is running, a small window appears that contains squiggly lines
with the message:

  Your program is testing for optimal display performance ...

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the programs listed at the top
of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information
here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
