You can print from Creative Writer to a fax modem. This is useful for printing
banners and cards in landscape format.

To print to your fax modem, use the steps below for your version of Windows.
Windows 95/98
-------------
1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.
2. Double-click the Add Printer icon. This starts the Add Printer Wizard. Follow
the Add Printer Wizard instructions. On the Manufacturer list, select the
Generic manufacturer. On the Printers list, select the Generic/Text Only
printer.
3. Right-click the Generic/Text Only printer and then click Set As Default.
4. Close the Printers setup window.
5. Create or open your document in Creative Writer.
6. Press and hold down the CTRL and SHIFT keys while you press the A key
(CTRL+SHIFT+A) to go to the Control Room. Click OK.
7. On the File menu, click Printing Options, then click Set Local.
8. In the Print dialog box, click Setup.
9. In the Specific Printer section, click fax. Click OK.
10. On the File menu, click Return to Creative Writer. Print your document.
After following these steps, you should be able to print to your fax modem in
landscape mode.
Windows 3.x

1. Start Control Panel, usually located in the Main program group of program
manager. Double-click the Printers icon.
2. Click Add. Select the Generic Text Only printer driver. Click Install, and
follow the instructions for installing. Click the Set as Default Printer
button.
3. In Creative Writer, create your document.
4. Press and hold down the CTRL and SHIFT keys while you press the A key
(CTRL+SHIFT+A) to go to the Control Room. Click OK.
5. On the File menu, click Printing Options, then click Set Local.
6. In the Print dialog box, click Setup.
7. In the Specific Printer section, click fax. Click OK.
8. On the File menu, click Return to Creative Writer. Print your document.
After you follow these steps, you should be able to print to your fax modem in
landscape mode.
