SYMPTOMS

You receive the following error message when you try to run the Microsoft Backup
for Windows compatibility test on a Pentium-based computer
A write error occurred on drive <x>. This diskette is defective. Please
replace the diskette to continue.
where <x> is the floppy disk drive on which the compatibility test is being
run.
NOTE: This problem does not occur with Microsoft Backup for MS-DOS.
