SYMPTOMS
========

When you use a Hewlett-Packard (HP) 1200C DeskJet color printer with Windows NT,
text in a colored box does not print. If you change the color in the box to gray
scale, the text prints correctly.

WORKAROUND
==========

The only workaround for this problem is to print documents with text in a
colored box from Windows 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT versions 3.1, 3.5 and
3.51. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the
Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
