Transblt.exe performs transparency and masking effects on bitmaps.

This article discusses several methods for performing transparency and masking
effects with bitmaps in the Microsoft Windows graphical environment, both
through simulations and by using special driver functionality. Included is a
small sample application, TRANSBLT, that demonstrates most of the techniques
discussed in this article.
