SYMPTOMS
========

MicroSpeed has confirmed that its MicroSpeed serial card for use with the
MicroSpeed Mouse is not compatible with Microsoft Windows version 3.1. If you
attempt to use the MicroSpeed mouse with the MicroSpeed serial card, Windows
will not display a mouse pointer, regardless of the mouse driver used.

WORKAROUND
==========

The only workaround is to remove the card, connect the mouse to a serial port
built into the computer, and install the Microsoft Mouse driver version 8.2.

The MicroSpeed product included here is manufactured by a vendor independent of
Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this product's
performance or reliability.
