description of the firmware/ROM revisions required to use Windows 3.1 video
drivers.

  NOTE: ATI Ultra BIOS version 1.3 or later is required. Contact ATI
  or your video manufacturer for BIOS updates. Also, ATI Ultra
  adapters work well with the Windows 3.1 8514/a driver. ATI's
  drivers provide extra performance.
