SYMPTOMS
========

When you print a message in version 3.0, 3.0b, or 3.2 of Microsoft Mail for
Windows that contains an object linking and embedding (OLE) object, a dialog box
prompts you to update information even if the OLE object is currently updated.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in versions 3.0, 3.0b, and 3.2 of
Microsoft Mail for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

Steps to Reproduce Problem
--------------------------

1. Run Microsoft Mail for Windows, version 3.0, 3.0b, or 3.2.

2. Open a new Compose Note.

3. Address message.

4. From the body of the message, choose Insert Object from the Edit menu and
  select Word Document.

5. Type a few words in the Word document.

6. From the File menu, choose Update.

7. Return to Mail for Windows.

8. From the File menu, choose Print; the Update Object Dialog box appears
  prompting you to update inserted OLE Object.
