SYMPTOMS
========

A Microsoft Excel version 4.0 for Windows chart embedded in a version 3.0, 3.0b,
or 3.2 Microsoft Mail for Windows message sometimes appears smaller than normal.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in versions 3.0, 3.0b, and 3.2 of
Microsoft Mail for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

Steps to Reproduce Problem
--------------------------

1. Compose a message in Mail.

2. From the Edit menu, choose Insert Object and select Microsoft Excel Chart.

3. With Excel running, choose New from the File menu and select Create a
  Worksheet.

4. Add some data, highlight it, then choose Copy from the Edit menu.

5. Minimize the Worksheet, click one time on the chart window, and choose Paste
  from the Edit menu.

6. Close the Chart and when prompted to Update, choose Yes.

7. Close Excel, return to Mail and double click the object.

Excel opens, but now the chart is smaller than normal.
