SYMPTOMS
========
Version 3.0 of Microsoft Mail for Windows will not run with Microsoft Windows
version 3.0 in standard mode with 2 megabytes of RAM. The following Windows
error message appears when you try to load Mail:
System Error, application terminated
CAUSE
=====
This problem is caused by Windows having a difficult time loading code segments
with low memory conditions.
RESOLUTION
==========
To correct this problem, update to Windows 3.1 or run Windows in enhanced mode
(this requires a 386 computer).
STATUS
======
This problem was corrected in Microsoft Windows operating environment version
3.1.
