SUMMARY

When you create an icon or group in Microsoft Windows, there are character
limitations in the Description, Command Line, and Group File text boxes.

The limit for an icon is:

  Description  = 40 characters
  Command Line = 80 characters

The limit for a group is:

  Description = 25 characters
  Group File  = 80 characters

NOTE: To view these text boxes, choose New from the File menu in Program Manager
and select Program Item or Program Group.
