SYMPTOMS
========

When you print in draft mode from Windows Paintbrush to a DeskJet printer using
the Hewlett-Packard (HP) DeskJet 500 scalable fonts driver version 1.0, you
receive the following error message:

  Insufficient memory to perform this operation; Close one or more Windows
  applications to increase available memory and try again.

WORKAROUND
==========

Select Proof in the Quality section of the Print dialog box.
