The "Microsoft Windows User's Guide" incorrectly states on page 277 that
text can only be drawn in solid colors, and that when a dithered color is
selected, Paintbrush uses the solid color that is closest to the selected
dithered color.

This is not true. Paintbrush can draw text in dithered colors.
