SYMPTOMS

According to Advanced Logic Research (ALR) technical support, trying to read
floppy drives from File Manager may cause the ALR 386 model 220 (with Phoenix
ROM BIOS version 1.1005) to stop responding (hang).

RESOLUTION
==========

This behavior can be corrected by upgrading the Phoenix ROM BIOS to version
1.1013 or later. An updated BIOS can be obtained from ALR.
