SUMMARY
=======

With File Manager's Change Attributes function, it is possible to set attributes
for subdirectories as well as files. Hidden subdirectories do not appear in
directory windows, the directory tree, or directory listings from MS-DOS as long
as the listings are not set to include hidden files.

Steps to Hide Directory(s)
--------------------------

1. From the directory tree in File Manager, select the "parent" of the directory
  to be hidden.

2. Press ENTER or double click the folder to open the directory window for the
  parent directory.

3. Select the directory to hide.

4. From the File menu, choose Change Attributes.

5. Select hidden from the Change Attributes Dialog.

6. Choose OK.

Steps to Unhide Directory(s)
----------------------------

1. From the directory tree in File Manager, select the "parent" of the directory
  to be unhidden.

2. From the View menu, choose Include.

3. From the Include dialog box, select Show Hidden/System Files.

4. Choose OK.

5. Press ENTER or double click the folder to get the directory window for the
  parent directory.

6. Select the directory to unhide.

7. From the File menu, choose Change Attributes.

8. Cancel Hidden from the Change Attributes dialog box.

9. Choose OK.

The directory should now be visible in directory windows, the directory tree, and
directory listings from MS-DOS.
