SUMMARY

To draw a line in Paintbrush that snaps to 45-degree increments, do the
following:

1. Select the Line tool.

2. Hold down the SHIFT key and the left mouse button.

3. Move the mouse cursor in a circular motion around the starting point.

For example, imagine your drawing placed over a clock face. You can only draw
lines between:

- 12 and 6

- 1.5 and 7.5

- 3 and 9

- 4.5 and 10.5

This technique also works with other drawing tools.
