Programmer's Guide" (for 7.00 and 7.10), as shown below.
The following is incorrect:
C$ = (A$, LEN(A$), B$, LEN(B$))
The following is correct:
C$ = AddString$(A$, LEN(A$), B$, LEN(B$))
