It has been reported that an Orchid Pro-Designer VGA card can hang
QuickBASIC Version 4.50 when it starts up. Reportedly, you can correct
the hanging by removing the NMI (nonmaskable interrupt) jumper on the
card.

Microsoft has not tested or confirmed this information.
