This screen mode allows you to run programs that utilize the special screen mode available on the Olivetti PC, models M24, M28, M240, M280, and M380, and the AT&T PC 6300 Personal Computer series. This information applies to Microsoft QuickBASIC Versions 4.00b and 4.50, Microsoft BASIC Compiler Version 6.00b for MS-DOS and MS OS/2, and Microsoft BASIC PDS Version 7.00 for MS-DOS and OS/2. If you have one of the computers mentioned above, you can utilize the 640 x 400 resolution screen mode by using SCREEN 4. The computers listed above are the only computers with which this mode was tested; therefore, Microsoft cannot guarantee that the mode works correctly on any other hardware configuration.
