SYMPTOMS
========

When you try to create a share, you may receive the following error message:

  The share name contains invalid characters.

CAUSE
=====

This issue can occur if you use an invalid character in your share name.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, do not use any of the following characters in your share
name:

  " / \ [ ] : | < > + ; , ? * =
