SYMPTOMS
========

When you send a message to a Microsoft Exchange Server computer, the default
font color may be set to black when the message is converted to Rich Text Format
(RTF), instead of being set to Automatic. As a result, if you open the message
on a computer on which the default background color is set to black, you cannot
view the text in the message.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Exchange Server
version 5.5. For more information, please see the following article in the

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server
version 5.5. This problem was first corrected in Exchange Server 5.5 Service
Pack 2.
