The following article lists the minimum system requirements needed to run Music
Central for the Macintosh, as stated in the Read Me file located on the
Microsoft Music Central 97 CD-ROM.

To install and run Music Central 97 you need:

- Any Macintosh computer that supports a 256-colors, 640x480 (13-inch) or
  higher resolution monitor.

- System 7.0 or later.

- 8 MB of random-access memory (RAM), with at least 4 MB available to run the
  application.

- 10 MB of free hard disk space (13.3 MB on Power Macintosh) recommended to
  install Music Central 97 to your hard disk for optimal performance.

- CD-ROM drive (double-speed, or faster, required).

- A modem, for Music Central Online features and updates.

- An account with an Internet service provider to connect with Music Central
  Online.

- 10 MB of free hard disk space, for updates downloaded from Music Central
  Online.
