SYMPTOMS
========

When you print selected text containing both italics and regular text, the
printed document may contain garbled or overlapped data.

RESOLUTION
==========

Print the entire article or copy the selected text and paste the text into
another program. Print the document from the program.


STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem with Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia
for Windows, 1996 edition. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
